I've been very drawn to simple interiors lately- with pops of color.  A big, bright couch is the perfect pop:

trying to make pink modern...

Kelsey and I are hosting our very own Thanksgiving this year--for the first time {without the help of mom!} And, although there will only be a few of us I still want to be fancy :) SO, taking a page from DwellStudio's Modern Thanksgiving Contest {though I doubt I'm eligible} I'm attempting to make my girly pink dishes look modern... Here's the first try:
