Dear World...

I feel I owe an apology--or an explanation at least--for my long absence from the blogosphere... I blame the cold weather. My inspiration is hibernating for winter--I am a Bear after all...

However yesterday on Oh Joy! I spotted this print by looks good to me:

and I feel awake again! Mystery solved--I feel disconnected form my wonderful collection of peep-toes and pumps and it is hampering my ability to blog. Darn the ice and cold! When can I wear strapy sandals again?

this post is to honor all the new babies in our world all of a sudden! welcome to the world to our new baby cousin, Nathan. And, a very (very, very shhh) soon-to-be born baby, baby buzzy-- all these next CSA generation babies! and also congrats to our other cousin's pregnancy! we are just a pile of new babies these days.

bad day

woke up to snow. in APRIL.  showered. coffee got burnt. hair looked really good and curly. trekked through sleet and snow to doctor. doctor appt. had been cancelled and they had failed to call me. could not reschedule for 10 days even though had waited 4 weeks for this appt. trekked back in rain/sleet/snow.

hair ruined. coffee cold. clothes soaking wet.
