winter to spring

yes, spring seems to be a common thread here this month. as if we thought is wasn't going to come this year, sometimes it feels that way. last week i realized that i took a picture of the same bush in ft tryon park in january and april:

snow and red berries, replaced by pink flowers and daffodils. magic.

spring is finally here

sorry to cris, for being so non-posty, but life has been anything but inspiring these past few days.

rumor has it that in 34 days when we walk, we wont get to go under the arch. that better not be true. then again, the only part that really matters to me right now is getting to graduation in one piece.

for some reason last week i decide to move all my furniture around. i like the flow in my room lots better now, but there is a huge blank wall. it used to be broken up a little by my bed, now it is just big and blank. SO i need to find some things to hang. suggestions welcome.

i for sure need a full length mirror... other that that-- posters? shelves? i have some brainstorming to do...

in other news, ate at black river this morning (the restaurant i work in) and danny devito and rita pearlman came in to eat. why is it that i have never seen a celebrity in nyc, and i've seen several in oberlin, oh? we were really good about not paying attention to them, cause i hate when people bother celebs... except when we started playing snaps and juliana snapped out "d-a-n-n" and i was like... subtle.

totally into short-sleeved cardigans right now. especially this sweet little jcrew gem (granted, i love just about anything jcrew dishes out...) they'd be great for light spring layers, don't you think? or is a short-sleeved sweater just silly?
