spring?

i'm sitting in my office, in the student union building, watching the most beautiful trees start to bloom, very slowly.

it's going to be so pretty. it's also like watching my impending death... since i'll be able to enjoy the flowers for about three days before the allergy induced asthma sets in and i have to hide until June.

here are some pics of the spring here, from our Easter "photo-shoot" freshmen year... maybe we'll do another one this year... because it's the last chance?

i've always hated most colors, besides blue, but lately i'm lovin everything... from sea green, to pale yellow, and currently: LAVENDER!

i'm also inspired by finding a cuter dress for my graduation than the one crissie got... must look cuter.

I found  new toy: http://www.polyvore.com/ It lets you make your own inspiration boards from pictures you collect on-line. Sweet. This is my first one--I'm loving this blue color right now...and I always love bows :)

feeling floral

Our living room/work room (to be) is currently very drab. Lots of beige and white, I really want to get some colors in there and recently I have been a huge fan of floral prints. The challenge is keeping a modern feel to the room--I don't want it to feel like Grandma's Country Cottage. It is a New York City Apartment- how can we make floras reflect that?
