Bonjour mes chéries. If you are anything like me- you love all things French- the language, the food, the landmarks, and bien sur-- the fashion! 

So it goes without saying--I am head over heels for this editorial in Marie Claire Italia. The looks are perfect for fall- a chic mix of textures and shapes- just like the setting, Paris.

I love the rough around the edges backdrop for this elegant chaise--not to mention the drool-worthy fall color palette. yum.

Dream Home. (err, Closet...)

This weekend boyfriend and I cleaned out one of our 3 closets. 3 small closets. (Not counting the two miniscule ones we have in our bedroom.) Of our three closets, Crissie uses one, we use one, and the linens occupy the last.

Cris and I have been facing big issues. Storage space in Manhattan apts. Where do we put all the shoes? (Really, see here.)

Lately I've been dreaming about closets. And I mean BIG, beautiful, rooms-in-themselves, closets. And then InStyle did a piece on Celebrity closets. Ensue drooling.

Check out all the boots Mariah Carey has! And I love that Christina Aguilera has to use a ladder to reach the height of her Louboutins...

But my fave, by far, is Olivia Wilde's walk-in closet/office, in her Venice, CA home... the mirrored chests from Anthropologie and cozy rug from Cantoni. I want it all. I want to LIVE there. It looks like a room, rather than a closet. And that, my darlings, is perfection.

Interior Inspiration- The Chair

I have seen perfection--and it is a chair. I spotted it last week on City Sage and I have been dreaming about the lengths I would go to to own it since (you can't even imagine...) Or even just to live in this perfect room. *le sigh* perhaps a cute outfit will hold me over....?

OK... it helped a little... but I still want that chair.....

big fan of the delicate floral paired with the ornate mirror in this room. i tried to incorporate that feeling in the outfit as well. i think i need that dress...hmmm, i do have a wedding to go to in august.
